Introducing the Accordianne A13

This simple and modular piece of furniture embodies the perfect blend of function and minimalism. Crafted in collaboration with furniture company Sauder, it was designed to playfully transform any living space with its sleek, adaptable length and interactive design.

The Accordianne A13 seamlessly expands from a compact 20 inches to over 60 inches, providing versatility and literal flexibility to comfortably fit any space.

Its folded-paper-inspired structure exceeds and defies expectations easily holding over 200 lbs of weight on the paper alone, ensuring a sturdy and reliable surface.

With its clean lines, contemporary aesthetic, and exceptional functionality, the Accordianne A13 elevates both form and function, making it a true statement piece for any modern home.

For this project, I developed a modular yet minimalist furniture piece. The project brief emphasized the importance of creating a design that seamlessly combines adaptability with a simple building method and aesthetic, providing a versatile solution for contemporary living spaces.

This product was meant to be shown at the Highpoint 2020 Furniture Show, however, the event was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19.
